But by far the biggest surprise was how easy it all was!

In order to save you the hassle of going through that “learning” phase of having a healthy organic kitchen, I compiled a list of the top 15 essentials you need!

15 Essentials for a Healthy Organic Kitchen

1. Pink Himalayan Salt

Pink Himalayan salt contains 84 minerals and elements making it a great addition to your healthy organic kitchen.

I switched from regular salt to Pink Himalayan Salk 2 years ago and never looked back.

Also, Pink Himalayan Salt is known for the restoration of electrolyte balance and boosting brain energy power.

It’s easily absorbed by the body so when cooking with Himalayan Salt you’re infusing your body with highly digestible minerals.

6. Organic Grass-Fed Butter

What? Butter? Isn’t butter bad?

Not this butter!

Because this butter is made with grass-fed cow milk which means the butter is pure from all the chemicals and antibiotics that grain-fed cows have.

And since it is made with grass-fed cow milk it’s high in CLA and Omega-3s making it a powerful addition that is known to help protect against cancer and support muscle growth.

Kerrygold, Unsalted Pure Irish Butter is my favorite by far – I buy in bulk as it seems more cost-effective:

7. Kerrygold Dubliner Cheese

Just like Kerrygold’s butter, Kerrygold cheese is made with grass-fed cow milk, making it fully packed with benefits.

It’s a great addition to any healthy organic kitchen.

Because you’ve got the option to buy it as a “brick” of Dubliner cheese, your options are endless; Slice it for a snack or shred it for a meal, the choice is yours.

Its flavor is described as “sweet and nutty with a piquant bite of parmesan”, read more about it here!

8. Fresh Organic Greens

Of course, what’s a healthy organic kitchen without greens, greens and more greens?

The first greens that comes to mind are organic kale and spinach, they are perfect for many occasions…

Simply, add them to your favorite fruit smoothie for some added nutritional value, or mix them into an exceptionally healthy salad.

You can also incorporate them with your delicious main course!

One more thing, one of my favorite side dishes is sautéed kale and spinach, give that a shot!

9. Dark Chocolate

Studies have shown that dark chocolate is loaded with flavanols.

Flavanols are antioxidants, naturally occurring plant-based antioxidants to be exact!

When consusmed, they have been shown to improve the circulation of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body.

when found in high concentrations, flavanols have been shown to add benefits to brain function, heart health, and skin aging.

Fruit is the holy grail of natural sweetness and health benefits.

If you ever find yourself craving something sweet, snack on some berries or strawberries, they are both filled with anitoxiadats and satisfy a sweet tooth!

Also, fruits are an excellent source of a ton of nutrients (way too many to list here) and essential vitamins.

One more thing, just like honey, the sweetness in fruit is much healthier than the dreaded table sugar. They’re perfect for smoothies!

In a healthy kitchen, you’re going to need two main types of knives.

Firstly, you need your paring knife because fruits and vegetables rock!

Check this pairing knife below:

Secondly, you need a sharp butcher knife for meats.

Out of all essentials, this is probably the one where you can’t afford to cut corners (get it?) at all.

Seriously, the sheer quality of life upgrade having professional grade knives and maybe even a sharpener is unparalleled.

In summery, those are my top 15 essentials for a healthy and organic kitchen.
