Haile Selassie’s quote always comes to mind when I think of spirituality!
“Spirituality does not come from religion. It comes from our soul. We must stop confusing religion and spirituality.”
It is a profound quote!
As I grow older, I find myself becoming more spiritual. What about you? Do you find yourself in a similar situation?
As a result of my near-death experience, I retired my religious beliefs and became one with Spirit.

Because of human imperfection, the original intent behind religion has been tainted.
Even though religion is a beautiful medium for connecting with God, I find it to be corrupt, political, divisive and manipulated in order to control people.
What are your thoughts/feelings about this topic?
Being spiritual, for me, means connecting with the Source of all things. The practice becomes a part of who you are over time.
As I have become more spiritually connected, my connection to God or Spirit has grown. In most religions, following guidelines and rules is more important than having a relationship with God.
My goal here is to bring us back to unity with God. It is not my goal to persuade you to abandon religion. Rather than refocusing your religious practice on religion, I am emphasizing connecting to God and your faith as a religious practitioner.
