Calm Leaders Build Better. Whatever You’re Building.

Guided meditation & personal coaching for professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone running on fumes.

You lead something. A team, a business, a classroom, a family, a room full of people who are counting on you.

On paper, everything’s fine. Underneath, your body never got the message that the emergency is over. Wired at night, tired all day, replaying everything at 3 AM. The desperate yes. The fearful no. The spiral that calls itself planning.

And it shows up in the rooms that matter most: the meeting, the pitch, the presentation, the live stream, the comment section where you meet everyone under the sun before your coffee’s done. That’s where people get flustered, anxiety runs high, and before they know it, they’re not operating at full capacity.

Calm Is A Revenue Skill

In my experience, the calm person in the room outsells, out-negotiates, and out-leads the one who isn’t. Research points the same way. In controlled experiments, negotiators who were made to feel anxious made weaker first offers, walked away sooner, and earned less. And in field studies of real estate and insurance agents, the ones with higher emotional intelligence brought in more revenue and kept more customers.

Calm isn’t something you acquire. It’s your factory setting, something you return to. And returning to it is a skill you can build.

Hi, I’m Zane

I know pressure from the inside.

Long before I taught meditation, I worked in some of the most demanding rooms there are, translating live, in more than one language, with no margin for error. I learned to focus on my breath and listen with intention. Then the rooms changed. I was sitting across from executives and leaders with decades more experience than me: a guy speaking English as his second language. I had to breathe, be intentional, stay calm and collected, and carry myself with confidence and poise.

I did organizational development at a Fortune 500 engineering firm and ran HR operations, where I saw the paperwork of burnout up close.

Then I built my own small business, which might be the most stressful job there is. You’re the boss, the CEO, the janitor, the shipper, the packer, the personal shopper, the soap maker, the singing bowl charger. In my meditations, I’m the lyricist, the performer, and the singing bowl artist. That takes a lot of energy. If you don’t learn how to harness it, your system stays in fight or flight, because all it hears is “this is so much pressure.”

Today I sit one-on-one with people, and I stand in front of rooms of ten to a hundred. I perform live. Every one of those rooms takes energy, and staying calm and collected is what lets me give it.

Through all of it, one practice held: I’ve meditated every day since 2008. After a near-death experience in 2012, I stopped waiting: for permission, for the degree, for the title. I started doing the things I loved. I loved meditation and what it did for my life, and I wanted everyone to know about it. I loved writing and wanted to share what I was learning, so I started blogging. I loved making music and art, so I started creating one quote image a day on Facebook. Today, I’m penning a book and writing on Substack.

Meditation, Plainly

Most people picture meditation as shaving your head, selling everything you own, and moving to a monastery on a mountain. In reality, it’s one of the most natural things we do.

You’re already aware of what’s going on in your life. Meditation is intentional awareness. You sit, on purpose, and observe whatever shows up. If you’re bored, you observe the boredom. If your mind is racing, you observe the racing. You don’t change the narrative. You just watch it.

And the more you watch, the more you learn. Most of us find out that the voice in our head is negative, condescending, and worried about the future. Even when we’re winning, it’s already chasing the next win, the next deal.

Meditation isn’t a religious practice. It’s you reclaiming yourself: through your breath, through awareness, through this present moment. It’s an investment in yourself, and it’s a long game.

We live in a world of instant everything, so sitting still for five minutes can feel like a chore. But think about it: when you’re sitting on the toilet, you’re already sitting there on purpose. Most of us scroll through our phones instead. Almost any moment can be a meditative one. We just fill it with other stuff and call it multitasking.

Science is catching up, too: a 2023 Stanford study found that five minutes a day of breathing with a long, slow exhale lifted people’s mood within a month.

The Work: Body, Mind, Spirit

Recalm the body. Calm is your factory setting. We start with the breath and the nervous system, because the body leads.

Reframe the mind. We catch the story you’re telling yourself. If there’s a better one to tell, we tell it.

Reclaim your sovereignty. We practice leading from a steady center instead of reacting to whatever hits next.

Ways We Work Together

One-On-One Guided Meditation & Personal Coaching

Online by Zoom or Google Meet, built around your week. We build a daily practice that fits your real life, and I stay in your corner as the pressure changes shape.

  • A single session, $111: 60 minutes. One conversation, one practice you take with you.
  • The 90-day intensive, $1,111: we meet every week for 90 days, 60 minutes each. You come out with a daily practice that’s yours, and meditations recorded for your life.

Team Sessions

For companies that want calmer meetings and clearer heads: sales teams when the stakes spike, HR teams absorbing everyone else’s storms, leadership teams making decisions that can’t come from panic. Practical and jargon-free.

And the newest generation in your workforce is carrying more than most: adults under 30 report more anxiety than any other adult age group, and their depression rate has more than doubled since 2017. That’s not a character flaw. It’s a nervous-system reality, and it walks into every meeting.

Speaking

Talks on calm under pressure for conferences, company events, and teams.

Team sessions and talks start at $3,000. Every room is different, so we shape it together.

The Author’s Room

For accomplished professionals with a book inside them. Your job is to write. I build the structure around you, and we work in a structured 90-day sprint, not a year-long marathon: we put the book together, you write, and we get it ready to publish. Analysis paralysis is not where we live.

Everyone needs a Capricorn in their life. We know how to structure things and get you to the finish line. I’m penning a book of my own, too.

The Author’s Room starts at $3,000, depending on how much your book needs.

What Working With Me Looks Like

Small roster, on purpose. Everything happens remotely, by Zoom or Google Meet.

Each session is 60 minutes. We talk for a bit, I explain what’s going on, and then I guide you through a meditation, live, built for that moment.

Every day at 11:11, I light a candle and hold space. When I go live and when I work with people, I hold space too. Sometimes a person doesn’t need solutions. They need a witness: someone who tells them it’s okay to feel whatever is there, the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Most people don’t realize how much a calm person changes a room until they’ve been in one.

Questions People Ask

Do I Need Any Experience?

No. If you can breathe and notice what’s happening, you can start.

How Much Time Does It Take?

On your own, five minutes a day is a real start. Our one-on-one sessions are 60 minutes each: we talk, I explain what’s going on, and I guide you through a meditation, live.

Is This Religious?

No. Keep every belief you hold and still practice. Meditation is breath, attention, and this moment.

I Already Watch Your Content. What’s Different About Working Together?

Watching is passive. You can go to the gym on your own and get somewhere. A trainer shows you the nuances most of us miss, brings energy you can’t summon alone, and holds you accountable. That’s the difference between watching and doing. A session is built for you: your week, your pressure, your practice, with someone holding space and witnessing the work as you do it.

Why Are Your Prices Right On The Page?

Because you deserve to know before we talk. One-on-one prices are fixed. Team sessions, talks, and the Author’s Room start at the price listed and depend on what you need.
